Japan trade minister blasts South Korea for 'mistaken' explanation after meeting

Japan warned that the latest comments from South Korea were damaging bilateral ties and eroding trust. Japan's Trade Minister Hiroshige Seko described South Korean President Moon Jae-in's explanations for the trade curbs as "regrettable" and "mistaken", and that South Korea broke an agreement on what the two sides would disclose from their meeting last week.
