FIREWORK PRESENTS: NEVER CONFORM!

Los Angeles artist Joey James Salehi causes a sensation at the iconic Paul Smith pink wall as he takes it over with his 50 pink suited performers. His message: "NEVER CONFORM!"

The performance began by representing the pressure that society puts on us to conform, with 50 identical pink people lined up against the pink wall. Soon, however, Salehi signaled the performers to Break Free, do their own thing, and show their individuality. This represented the struggle to achieve individuality and the difficulty of maintaining identity juxtaposed against the joy of freedom and self expression.

Salehi knows that individuality is a journey, and a difficult one. He hopes that his art performance encourages all of us to think for ourselves and NEVER CONFORM!
