We LOVE having skin to skin contact with our baby. Since their birth we have not put any clothing on them and we have only used diapers (cotton) a handful of times when we are out in the world. (A dedicated video is coming around diapering and elimination communication.) We are fortunate that the weather here in Austin, Texas is nice and warm right now and there is no need for clothing. It is also legal to be topless here in Austin which means we can both keep our baby on our chests at anytime, anywhere we go. We just love the closeness and bonding and safety this provides to us all during this precious time. What has your experience been with clothing vs skin to skin? Is it available for you or is it impractical for some reason(s)? Have you noticed a difference when your baby is clothed vs skin to skin? BECOME A MEMBER:
