"Pick of the Day" - 1974 Fender Jazzmaster and 1966 WEM Deep Blue

Today's pick of the day is a beautiful, completely original Fender Jazzmaster from 1974! We don't see the 70's Jazzmaster guitars as often as some other eras, so this is fantastic to have down at the shop. A pair of great pickups with the always cool Jazzmaster circuitry, combined with a very playable and comfortable medium c-shaped neck, this guitar is ready to go and a great choice for any Jazzmaster fan!

For amplification today, we've got a really rare one, that is quite a bit different from most other amps - its a 1966 WEM Deep Blue! This amp comes from Watkins Electric Music, and has great EL-84 tone coming in at 30-watts. What really sets this amp aside is that it has a fully-functioning Copicat tape echo built into the back of it! The echo/delay is very warm, with nice repeats that aren't dark enough to get lost in the mix, but aren't so bright as to overpower the original sound - its fantastic!

(The WEM Deep Blue just came in on Friday so we'll have it on the site ASAP!)
