How to Teach Your Horse to Lead Nicely - Stop Pulling and Barging A gentle way to teach your horse (or donkey!) to lead with you nicely. Rescue donkey, Ned, pulled, barged and bit. I worked WITH him, quietly and positively to teach him to walk and halt happily.

Barging and pulling usually arise from confusion, anxiety, frustration or over-excitement. By focusing on building a calm connection, and empowering your horse to make the right choice through rewards, you can quickly improve your horse's leading.

In just one session, Ned changed HUGELY from being dangerous to soft and easy to lead. Best of all, it was a process we BOTH enjoyed :-D
