How much home would $300,000 dollars buy you in Arizona? GOBankingRates.com, looked at data from Zillow using the median list price to determine how much home can be purchased for $300,000. Now, the national average for a $300,000-dollar Home is 1,967 square feet. Unfortunately, currently the average size home in Arizona is 1,879 square feet for the same value. Down from 2018, where $300,000, would have bought you a 2,007-square-foot home, and in 2017, 2,139 square feet. Likely a trend to continue unless we all move to Mississippi; $300,000 will get a 3,207 square foot home.
