Had the opportunity today to fly through the Grand Canyon for the first time and it was absolutely beautiful. Its crazy as a pilot you can see the same routes over and over but its never the exact same because of how big and vast this world is seeing my instructor pull out his phone to take pictures was pretty cool and he has thousands of hours. Being able to do it for my first time all the cool things I got to learn experience see and understand it truly is life changing.
Had the opportunity today as well to check out my first VOR understand the use of them and how pilots used to do it back in the day…
