Islands of rubbish engulf Bosnian river

The Drina river in Bosnia, once known for being emerald green and crystal clear, is now home to islands of rubbish and pollution.

It’s believed between 100-200 tons of waste are dumped into the river every day.

A lack of waste disposal options and no recycling facilities means the problem is growing every day.
