In order to get a head start on my apartment makeover and finally get my ever-growing piles of clothes off the floor, my ex-bosses Kelsey and Becky from the Sorry Girls and I build a rolling double decker pipe clothing rack with a wood shelf for shoes. This is the perfect relatively simple DIY for my fellow rookie furniture-builders and overall just a beautiful and functional ~industrial chic~ small closet solution. Urban Outfitters Home is quaking.

4x 36” black steel pipes (
2x 41” black steel pipes (
**I used 3/4” wide pipes for extra stability and black steel for the ~aesthetic~, but you could use stainless steel or copper pipes or 1/2” pipes to reduce costs! Just be aware that 1/2” pipes might not hold heavy clothes as well, especially for this double decker design.
