Research shows that One out of two students in grade 5 cannot do a math question at grade 2 level. Another alarming data - 2 out of 5 students drop out from primary schools. To address these challenges, lot of funds are pouring in but the need of the hour is efficient utilization of these investments. Class Saathi seeks to fill that gap! Class-Saathi is an integrated solution - it comprises a clicker for each student and a mobile app with lot of teaching content for the teachers.
Saathi enables teachers to teach students at a very personal level; The classroom learning environment becomes more interactive and participating; frequent quizzing activity and reports helps teachers to do much more now.
Even the parents can stay informed about their kids’ progress at school.
Class Saathi is affordable and works very well even without internet.
The outcomes from pilot test with over 1000 students are truly motivating. The attendance increased by 10% immediately. Learning outcomes also increased by 8%.
My desire to give back to my roots coupled with my team’s belief that technology can help improve education led us to come up with Class Saathi. Our vision for Class Saathi is that it becomes an integral part of all classrooms around the world.
