BREXIT: Theresa May faces no confidence vote - Sir Christopher Chope presents petition (30/04/2019)

Former minister Sir Christopher Chope demands a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May.

The senior Tory has presented a petition calling for a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister.

Sir Christopher Chope said signatories, including some from his own Christchurch constituency, are dissatisfied with Theresa May's handling of Brexit.

Sir Christopher told the Commons: "This petition asks this House to hold a debate of no confidence in the Prime Minister at the earliest opportunity. It is a petition from residents of the United Kingdom."
