The Fancy Man by Mike Stott was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on 19th September 1987. Story:
A black comedy: A small village in the Pennines in 1923. Amy and Arthur Granville have only been married for a year and all is not well. Amy is behaving strangely and Arthur is confused. One night, in his confusion, Arthur tries to strangle Amy.
