We always suggest exfoliating the whole body before coming in, freshly showered with no lotions or products on the skin. Following the tan we suggest not showering for at least 24 hours, only scrubbing the areas that must be scrubbed. Adding your everyday body lotion to the skin following that first shower will help smooth out any imperfections and keep the tan glowing. After two weeks, we always tell our clients that you may exfoliate the whole body to completely remove the tan! For special occasions, we suggest booking a trial to ensure everything goes as wished.
We tell our brides to get their airbrush spray tan at least 2-3 days before the wedding. We say 3 days because we want there to be time for adjustments. Let us break it down for you!
▪️Day 1: Spray Tan!
▪️Day 2: First shower following the spray tan! During this time you can tell how the solution adjusts with the skin, giving you time to either come in for a touch up if needed or remove the spray tan by exfoliation- if you decide you should be without a tan for your wedding day. Exfoliation should be done this day and the next to ensure all residue from the tan is completely gone. We suggest exfoliating gloves and a gentle body scrub. On the other hand, if you decide the tan is perfect for the occasion- rock it!
